THIS POSITION ISLOCATED IN THOMSON, GA AT OUR MCDUFFIEFACILITY.
RESPONSIBLEFOR :
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atomswithin a magnetic field to image anatomic and / or physiologicconditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis ofdisease. MR technologists perform diagnostic Magnetic resonanceexaminations in accordance with all prescribed standards under thedirect guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologistsprovide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal,pediatrics, adult, andgeriatrics.
Qualifications :
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED :
Graduate of an AMA approvedRadiologic Technology program (ARRT) orcertified by the AmericanRegistry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED :
A minimum of one (1) year experienceas a Radiology Technologist required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONREQUIRED BY LAW :
Registered by the AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R) or Certifiedby the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance ImagingTechnologists (ARMRIT).
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS :
Advanced certification by theARRT in MRI (MR) preferred
Six (6) months MRItechnologist experience preferred
BLS certified
