MedSurg Nurse Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our MedSurg department, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals from birth through their entire lifecycle. This role involves utilizing a range of nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while adhering to organizational policies and standards.
Responsibilities:
The staff nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to patients using evidence-based practices. Qualifications:
- Minimum Education Required: Graduate of a nursing program
- Minimum Experience Required: New graduates eligible
- Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law: Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification required
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Advanced certification in a field of specialty, if applicable
