CNA Oncology Full Time Days Position Summary
Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists with personal hygiene, takes vital signs and changes bed linens. May serve and collect food trays, provide for between-meal nourishment, and clean, sterilize, store and prepare other supplies. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Responsibilities
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor
THE CNA ONCOLOGY FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED
Minimum Experience: Minimum of six months of work experience preferred
Certifications Required: Completion of CNA course required; must be certified within 6 months of employment, and/or completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an accredited nursing curriculum with the intention to complete a nursing degree required. American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire
