Job Summary
The RN Psych Full Time Nights position at Piedmont Medical Center requires an individual who can provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of assigned patients. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care delivery and achieve desired patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients with psychiatric needs, utilizing the nursing process to identify, prioritize, and manage their unique requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans that promote positive outcomes and improve quality of life.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and address any concerns or questions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, progress, and outcomes, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state where you reside.
- BLS certification.
- CPI certification within the orientation period.
Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience working in psychiatric or mental health nursing.
- RN-C certification.
