RN Inpatient Wound Care Full Time Days Position Summary
Provides direct patient care to include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient caseload. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Responsible for direct patient family teaching and also for developing teaching skills of direct care staff so that patient and family educational goals can be met.
THE RN INPATIENT WOUND CARE FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Individuals must possess the ability to:
Perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Provide care utilizing the nursing process
Communicate effectively

Minimum Education: BSN is required.
Minimum Licensure and Certification: A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required. Should you hold a RN license from another Compact state, you are required to apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside within 30 days. BLS required. Certification in Wound and Ostomy care required. Eligibility for Certified Diabetes Education preferred. May be cross-trained to Diabetes Education.
Minimum Experience/Additional Certification: 3 years experience as a nurse required.
