Candidate Responsibilities

  • Setting up and operating various audio systems , lighting systems, projection systems, video systems, streaming broadcast equipment and recording devices.
  • Pulling various low voltage type signal cables.
  • Terminate various low voltage cables.
  • Interconnect and configuring digital mixers, amplifiers, speakers systems, projectors, video screens, computer based graphics systems, wireless microphone systems and theatrical lighting systems.
  • Rigging speaker arrays, large projectors, projection screens, TV panels.
  • Configuring AV over IP based systems.
  • Interface multimedia systems with networking systems.

Required Skills

  • Understand the workflows and operational aspects for all types of AVL equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain and repair AVL equipment.
  • Setting up the specified AVL equipment to work within a specific venue.
  • Final testing of all the equipment, optimizing the quality of audio and visual before turning the final systems over to the customer.
  • Documentation of completed installations, customer maintenance work performed, and any repairs to AVL equipment and systems.
  • Onsite customer training, service and support.
  • Multimedia production abilities for AVL systems.
  • Understanding various media workflows.
  • Applicants must have a high school diploma.
  • Physical ability to move and lift heavy equipment.
  • Operate lifts and periodically work at elevated heights.
  • Building and carpentry methods.
  • Power tools operation.
  • Minimum of 2 years AVL Systems Installer Job Experience.
