Registered Nurse position at Piedmont Newnan Hospital
Patient population includes Adolescents to Geriatrics in Medical Surgical and General Surgery including ortho, bariatrics, renal, GI, and respiratory (CHF)
Minimum experience required : 2 years
Floating within facility as needed within scope
Unit systems include Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR
Patient ratio : 1 : 6
Compliance : Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant, push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
Job Requirements
BLS - Basic Life Support
NIHSS - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certification
State License verification within 30 days prior to start date
Annual Nursys (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) verification within 30 days prior to start date
Medication Test / Pharmacology Competency Exam required by Aya only
Background Check required within 30 days of start
Schedule Information
RTO : MAX 7 days
Weekend : Every other
Call requirements : None
Holidays : Expected to work major holidays if they fall within assignment period
Unit Specific Information
Unit accepts first time travelers
Floating within facility as needed within scope
