About Us: Piedmont Protective Services is dedicated to providing exceptional security solutions and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients. We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated part-time Police and Security Dispatcher to join our team at our main headquarters in Charlotte, NC.
Role Overview: As a Police and Security Dispatcher, you will be a crucial part of our operations, responsible for monitoring the safety of our contracted properties. Your role will involve reviewing staff reports and activities to ensure adherence to site instructions, observing live camera footage, and promptly dispatching local police in response to any criminal or suspicious activity.
Schedule:
Sunday- Tuesday, 5:30pm-5am
Wednesday, 5:30pm-11pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze staff reports and activities to ensure compliance with site-specific instructions.
- Monitor live camera feeds of contracted properties to detect and address any potential security concerns.
- Dispatch local law enforcement as needed in response to criminal or suspicious activities.
- Maintain clear and accurate communication with security personnel, local police, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to maintaining a secure environment and ensuring client satisfaction through effective monitoring and response.
Pay and Benefits:
Starting at $16.00 per hour
Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to multitask and write detailed notes.
- Must have basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check/criminal history.
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test.
- Must be able to write professional reports and emails using proper English and grammar.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Previous experience in a security or dispatch role is preferred.
