What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer (Unarmed) position at Piedmont Protective Services?
About us: Piedmont Protective Services is currently hiring for a part-time security officer at a movie theater in Indian Land, SC.
Overview: As an unarmed security guard, you will be responsible for performing foot patrols and ensuring the safety and security of the assigned premises. You will work independently, be in uniform, and play a vital role in deterring unauthorized access. You will be responding to security incidents and maintaining a visible and professional presence.
Shift:
Friday and Saturday 6 pm - 11:30 pm
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure the safety of life and property while on post
- Writing hourly reports and completing hourly tours of properties
- Following specific post orders according to each site
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older for Unarmed Security
- Must be able to pass a background check/criminal history
- Must have a working smartphone and a working phone plan
- Must have an active driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
- Must be able to work alone and independently
- Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time
