Job description: Piedmont Protective Services is dedicated to providing top-notch security solutions and ensuring a safe environment for our clients. We are looking for a reliable and professional full-time security officer to join our team in Charlotte, NC.
Role Overview: As an unarmed security officer, you will be crucial in maintaining the safety and security of various locations in the Charlotte area. You will operate independently and be in uniform. You will be instrumental in deterring unauthorized access, responding effectively to security incidents, and upholding a visible and professional presence.
What to Expect: For this role, you will be trained to work at various sites and perform various security related functions. You will have a set schedule daily, but your assignment could/will vary from day to day.
Schedule:
Wed, 12am-6am
Thursday, 6pm-4am
Friday-Saturday, 6pm-6am
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure the safety of life and property while on post
- Complete tours of the property and write reports as required
- Follow specific post orders according to each site
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
- Must be able to pass a background check/criminal history
- Must possess a smartphone with an active cellular data plan
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time
