What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Center Substitute position at Piedmont Public Schools?
Qualifications : CPR and First Aid Certified
Reports to : Childcare Center Director
Performance Responsibilities :
- Supervise and provide activities for infants and / or children.
- Work directly with the infants and / or children in the program.
- Listen to and follow directions of the Childcare Center Director and Assistant Director.
- Participates in and completes all required continuing education trainings provided by Piedmont Schools.
- Completes Master Teacher training and certification.
- Work together with other childcare center staff to meet the needs of all children.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and public relations skills.
- Maintain staff time sheet.
- Maintain physical environment of classroom, ensuring safety and security.
- Provide appropriate information to Childcare Center Director and / or Assistant Director for program needs.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Abides by all district, federal and state laws, and regulatory agencies.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Terms of Employment : Work as needed.
Evaluation : Evaluation by Childcare Center Director in accordance with BOE policy
