Description : RESPONSIBLE FOR :
The Mammography Technologist performsspecialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis andtreatment of breast disease in patients. The MammographyTechnologist performs a variety of tasks involving the operation ofmammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment / devices asappropriate.
Qualifications :
MINIMUM EDUCATIONREQUIRED :
Graduate of an AMA approved school ofRadiologic Technology.
MINIMUMEXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
One (1) year minimumexperience as a Mammography Technologistpreferred.
MINIMUMLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW :
Must beARRT (M) - Mammographyregistered.
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS :
BLS CertificationRequired.
