Job Summary

The Nurse Residency Unit is a unique opportunity for new graduate nurses to develop their clinical skills and knowledge in a supportive and learning-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
  • Function within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
  • Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

    • Requirements

    • Graduate of a nursing program.
    • One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
    • Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
    • BLS certification required.
