About the Job
This role requires a highly skilled nurse with expertise in critical care, who can provide exceptional patient care and support to families during challenging times. As an ICU nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. We also value candidates with a strong commitment to lifelong learning, as well as those with certifications in specialty areas such as CCRN or PCCN.
Key responsibilities:
- Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to meet these needs
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient care, communicating effectively with colleagues and families
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
- Current Georgia RN licensure, or eligibility for NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification, BSN degree preferred; one year of hospital experience in a critical care setting a plus
