Full Time Day Shift Inpatient Physical Therapist, Clinical Coordinator
RESPONSIBLE FOR :
Coordinates, updates, and revises the clinicaleducation program. Providing competency assessments andeducational / training sessions for staff as well as establishingbest practice protocols. Having a working knowledge of all aspectsof procedures for their specific discipline, as well as policiesrelated to reimbursement. Serving on committees for programplanning. Providing care for a designated group of patients,including evaluations, modalities, and treatments. Responsible forthe care of patients treated by therapist assistants, technicians,students, and observers. Responsible for orientation and ongoingguidance of assignedstaff.
Qualifications :
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED :
Bachelor's degree inPhysical Therapy from a recognized college or university.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED :
Two years of previous healthcareexperience preferred in a hospitalsetting.
MINIMUMLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW :
Currentlicensure in the State of Georgia in applicable field of study. BLScertified through AHA.
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS :
Experience with research andanalysis of data preferred. Reads and writes in English. Must beable to evaluate data and make independent decisions.
