As the Information Technology Lead, you will act as the primary point of contact for all technology requests across the company and primary liaison with our Managed Service Provider (MSP). The role will include some smaller scale project work. This position carries asset management responsibilities and will also include troubleshooting problems and/or issues though diagnostic techniques and questions and then determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided.
Job Duties include:
- Work with the business and Managed Service Provider (MSP) to ensure that all business technology requirements are met.
- Managing vendors for IT solutions such as wireline & mobile carriers, phone systems & telepresence vendors.
- Working with Human Resources to facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding from a technological perspective.
- Supporting Business Systems requirements such as Enterprise Resource Planning solutions as well as other on-prem applications.
- Managing inventory of software and hardware to keep up with business continuity requirements.
- Serving as the first point of contact for internal customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email with technology such as computers, laptops, tablets, network printers, and mobile devices
- Implementing and enforcing cybersecurity policies and procedures as required by corporate initiatives.
- Performing remote trouble shooting for employees through diagnostic techniques, determining best solution based on the issue described.
- Walking internal customers through problem solving processes.
- Recording events and problems as needed, following up and updating internal customers on status of issues, while directing unresolved issues to the next level of support.
Qualifications preferred for job candidates:
- 3-5 years of technical experience supporting desktop computers in a small to medium organization
- Must have a strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and printers.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
- Must have excellent computer skills
- Must have great verbal and written communication skills
Travel Required
- Travel to branches within the organization may be required from time to time.
