What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Shuttle Bus Driver position at Piedmont Triad Airport Authority?
An employee in this position receives payment from customers who use parking services at the airport. The employee will also be scheduled in the Airport Shuttle Driver’s role.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service in assisting customers with payment for parking services, using automated equipment.
- Balance cash records and process credit card transactions and complete necessary reports.
- Drive passengers and their baggage between the airport terminal and parking facilities.
- Assist passengers with boarding or exiting the bus as necessary, including: Assistance with loading and unloading baggage, and operation of wheelchair ramp if needed.
- Interact professionally with all customers
Standard Work Hours:
Position supports day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed in a 24/7, 365-day work environment.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Must have the ability to accurately collect and reconcile revenue while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Ability to safely drive the Shuttle bus on the appointed route.
- Ability to learn and use a two-way radio and proper radio etiquette.
- Ability to interact courteously with the public and co-workers, and represent the Airport in a positive, professional manner.
- Ability to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and take responsibility for own actions.
