What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleanliness and Order Specialist position at Piedmont Unified School District?
The Piedmont Unified School District values diversity and is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Custodian (.50FTE).
This role will be responsible for performing custodial duties, including but not limited to:
- Sweeping, mopping, waxing, resurfacing, and sealing floors
- Vacuuming rugs and carpets
- Dusting, washing, and polishing furniture and woodwork
- Emptying and cleaning waste receptacles
- Washing windows, walls, sinks, and fountains
- Cleaning restrooms
- Cleaning and washing kitchen/cafeteria areas
- Polishing metal work
- Filling paper and soap dispensers
- Cleaning chalk boards and trays
As a Custodian (.50FTE), you will also be responsible for securing buildings and facilities by turning out lights, locking doors, windows, and gates, and arming alarm systems.
