Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Director to lead our Behavioral Health organization in developing and managing our MHSB, IIH, CS, EBA and TDT programs that support our mission. This role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee program implementation, manage staff, and drive efforts while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that align with the organization's mission and objectives.
- Lead fundraising initiatives to secure resources for program sustainability and growth.
- Educate staff, volunteers, and community members about program goals and services offered.
- Manage volunteer recruitment, training, and ongoing support to ensure effective program delivery.
- Utilize social media management strategies to promote programs and engage with the community.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to assess program effectiveness and inform future initiatives.
- Represent the organization at public speaking events to raise awareness about our mission and programs.
- Collaborate with other organizations and stakeholders to enhance program reach and impact.
Experience
- Proven experience in program management or related field, preferably in a nonprofit or community service setting.
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in fundraising strategies and donor relations is highly desirable.
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with social media platforms for marketing purposes is a plus.
- Background in addiction counseling or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and volunteer management.
