Job Description
The Head Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at Piedmont University is responsible for the overall direction and management of the Strength and Conditioning Program. This includes designing and implementing proper, efficient, scientifically sound training programs for assigned teams, as well as ensuring safe operation and professional supervision of the strength and conditioning facility.
Key Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or completed degree(s) above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis
• 3-5 years of experience in strength and conditioning, or related field
• Must hold a CSCS certification by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), or SCCC certification by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa)
• First Aid/CPR/AED certified
• Valid Georgia driver's license, and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
