Job Summary:
The staff nurse delivers high-quality nursing care to patients from birth through the end of life. Utilizing evidence-based practices, the nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care within the framework of the organization's policies and procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized care to patients with diverse needs and conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care activities
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Participate in professional growth and development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements:
Education: Graduate of a nursing program
Experience: New graduates eligible; nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
Certifications/Licenses: Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License; BLS certification required
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced certification in field of specialty; Bachelor's degree
