RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Assists anesthesia providers and other health care members in providing care to the patient undergoing an operative invasive procedure. Prepares anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for administration of general, monitored anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia and supports anesthesia services. Maintains inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies. Job responsibilities include specific anesthesia and equipment related comprehensive care to the child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients undergoing invasive procedures.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Minimum Experience Required
One year experience with direct patient care experience in a hospital setting required, two years preferred.
Previous Experience In An Operating Room Preferred.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
American Heart Association BLS Certification
Additional Qualifications
Certified anesthesia technician (Cer.A.T.) or equivalent certification preferred.
