Service Truck Driver Branch 55 Industrial
The primaryfunction of the Service Truck Driver is to repair, maintain, and installwiring, motors, transformers, lighting, and other electrical systems. May workin cooperation with other trades and laborers to ensure that allspecifications, legislation, and policies are met, and ensure efficientcompletion of any project in accordance with all standards of building codesand safety. Conduct business in accordance with PPC and Pieper Power,Inc. mission and vision statements.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical system
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical orelectronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using handand power tools. Installs, repairs, and maintains motors, transformers, lights,appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical equipment and components incompliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Ensures new work and repairs of existing work adhere tocurrent electrical codes
Operates a variety of electrical testing equipment inlocating and determining types of electrical malfunctions
Studies plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders todetermine work requirements and sequence of repairs and / or installations.
Current State licensed Journeymanor Master Electrician License preferred.
IBEW member or able to jointhe local IBEW.
Previous Service truck experience preferred.
Positive safety attitude and personal integrity - both are non-negotiable
Willing to drive a service van.
Able to work on your own tosolve customer problems.
Proficient in the currentnational and state electrical codes.
Clean history at DMV.
Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade.
Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Knowledge of electrical application for high and low voltage electricalsystems.
Skill in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of electricalsystem equipment and components.
