About You :
We strongly believe that veterinary medicine is a team sport, and our ideal candidate is someone who feels the same. Communication is key in our industry, and we are looking for people who navigate both client and interpersonal communication with skill and ease.
The ideal candidate will be a self-started and can work independently, have a genuine love for animals, a strong work ethic, and the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. As a Kennel Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of the animals in our care, maintaining cleanliness at Middletown Animal Control Shelter , and assisting with daily operations, such as cleaning, feeding, and walking the animals. Prior animal handling experience is preferred.

Anticipated Schedule :
This is a part-time position with an alternating schedule of 4 and 3 days weekly :
Week 1 : Saturday, Sunday and 2 Weekdays – 7am – 9am AND 4pm – 6pm (Each day is a total of 4 hours)
Week 2 : 3 Weekdays – 7am – 9am AND 4pm – 6pm (Each day is a total of 4 hours)
Compensation : 16.50 an hour
