Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional customer service. You will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience by managing guest interactions, coordinating with kitchen staff, and maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house environment.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Take customer orders accurately using the POS system, including Aloha POS, and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food items or specials.
- Ensure that all dining areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout service periods.
- Assist in training new staff members on customer service protocols and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and delivery to guests.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Participate in banquet services as needed, assisting with setup, service, and breakdown.
Skills
- Strong background in restaurant management or food service management is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous.
- Experience in quick service fast food restaurants is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations is beneficial.
- Skills in training development for new employees are highly desirable.
