Server Position - Join the Pier50 Folsom Team!
Position Overview:
As a Server at Pier50 Folsom, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. You will describe menu items, assist with food and beverage selections, take and submit orders, deliver food and drinks, process payments, and collaborate with your team to ensure guest satisfaction.
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi bar operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, friendly service to all guests
- Accurately take and submit orders
- Describe menu items and assist guests in making food and beverage choices
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
- Process payments and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the restaurant
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Professional, presentable appearance with a positive, outgoing personality
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Experience with POS systems preferred
- Strong guest relation skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs
