- Engage with guests, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy shifts, especially during events or banquets.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending or related roles within the restaurant or food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and managing tabs effectively.
