Job Summary: The primary responsibility of a busser is to set and clears restaurant tables, stock all service stations and assist food servers with table service to ensure total guest satisfaction. The primary responsibility of a food runner is to deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional & knowledgeable manner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Clear dishes and utensils from tables; remove soiled linen and replace with clean linen so new customers can be seated
- Spray and wipe down tables using proper cleaner and rags
- Sweep and mop floors
- Maintain server station area ensuring items are stocked
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service and respond to guest needs accordingly
- Keep supervisors and managers informed of situations relating to the restaurant operations, guest complaints or concerns, accidents, emergency situations, damages and potential safety hazards.
- Deliver food to guest tables by picking up the order from the kitchen, paying special attention to the table numbers and seat orders, and promptly bringing it to the guest table
- Answer guest’s questions about the food when it is being delivered to the table.
- Relay drink or special food requests from the guest to the server.
- May be asked to assist with stocking items in the kitchen and storerooms and maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant.

- Must be able to lift/pull/carry up to 40 pounds and push up to 100 pounds
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to heat, fumes and airborne particles
