Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Expo/Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expo/Food Runner will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff.
Responsibilities
- Dress plates and deliver food from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Assist servers by ensuring that all necessary items are available for each table.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area by bussing tables and clearing dishes.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by assisting with food handling and preparation tasks.
- Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Prepping ranch, cocktail, tarter, and the expo station with all the proper veggies or cold items.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety protocols is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
