Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional guest services and a strong understanding of food service operations. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all food safety standards are met. We are open Tuesday through Sunday so shifts will be 3:30-9:30 or 10:30 on weekend. Closed Mondays
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Clover POS and OpenTable systems.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly to guests, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred.
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Familiarity with Clover POS or OpenTable systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Sales skills to promote menu items effectively can enhance guest experiences.
