PIPE FITTERS

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pipe Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems and related equipment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.

1. Installation and Assembly

   • Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes to specifications.
   • Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, or HVAC systems.
   • Connect piping systems using various techniques, including welding, brazing, and threading.

2. Inspection and Maintenance

   • Inspect and test piping systems for leaks or defects using pressure gauges and other tools.
   • Perform routine maintenance on piping systems to ensure proper functionality.
   • Troubleshoot and repair piping issues as needed.

3. Fabrication

   • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine work requirements.
   • Fabricate complex piping systems based on designs and specifications.

4. Safety and Compliance

   • Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulations.
   • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe working environment.
   • Adhere to local building codes and environmental regulations.

5. Collaboration

   • Work closely with other tradespeople, such as welders, plumbers, and construction teams.
   • Communicate effectively with supervisors and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of piping systems, materials, and tools.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as testing and measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of welding and soldering techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions (e.g., heights, confined spaces, outdoors).

• Certification in pipefitting or welding.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and plumbing codes.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

• Work may be performed in industrial, commercial, or residential settings.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions and hazardous materials.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
