The Rigger is responsible for setting up and operating rigging equipment to safely move, position, and secure heavy loads, machinery, or materials. Key Responsibilities :
Rigging Setup and Operation :
Inspect, set up, and operate rigging equipment such as hoists, pulleys, cables, and cranes.
- Determine the best rigging method for moving loads safely and efficiently.
- Secure loads using ropes, chains, slings, and other rigging devices.
Load Management :
Calculate the weight and dimensions of loads to ensure proper equipment selection.
Safety and Compliance :
Conduct pre-use inspections of rigging equipment and report any defects or damage.
Team Collaboration :
Work closely with engineers, crane operators, and other personnel to execute projects.
Documentation and Reporting :
