Position Summary
THIS POSITION IS PART-TIME AND DOES NOT HAVE BENEFITS
This opportunity is up to 16 hours per week and could work on evenings and weekends. There will be opportunities to support other Specialized Recreation programs and work additional hours.

How to be Successful in This Role
Are you someone passionate about art, who also thrives on teaching and helping others? If so, this may be a wonderful role for you to share your love of art with our Specialized Recreation participants. Your knowledge and experience working with people of all ages and various needs will be helpful as you lead art classes for people with differing abilities. Your capacity to problem-solve, work with the public in a tactful manner, and use your organizational skills while remaining flexible, will be critical to your success.
Position Summary :
- This program is part of our Specialized Recreation Program, designed for individuals ages 8 and up with special needs During the school year, we primarily serve individuals aged 22 to 60. In the summer, we offer camps and programs that cater to a younger age range.
- Our Art Program is on Tuesday's from 10 : 30 a.m. to 2 : 30 p.m. The Art Instructor Position is approximately 16 hour per week, which includes planning time.
- There are also opportunities to support in other Specialized Recreation programming during varied times, including evenings and weekends.

Extra hires are eligible to receive sick leave in accordance with the WA State Minimum Wage Act. Extra hires are not eligible for other County benefits.
