As a Summer Gate Attendant at North Lake Tapps, you’ll be the ambassador of fun, setting the tone for everyone’s park experience with top-notch customer service and a positive attitude.

Why It's a Great Department:Pierce County Parks and Recreation manages over 5,200 acres of open space, trails, developed and undeveloped parks. We provide recreation programs and infrastructure in active and passive parks and trails. The department consists of three divisions: Parks and Recreation, Administration, and Resource Stewardship. Our mission is to be a leader in creating livable communities by providing opportunities for people to connect with nature, learn about sustainable practices, live healthy lifestyles, and enjoy vibrant community spaces.

About the Positions/Schedules:
Hours vary, typically 15 -35 hours per week for 18 weeks (May-September).
- Morning - 7:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
- Afternoon - 12:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years of age
- Ability to work flexible hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Great customer service and people skills
