Summary
As a Supervisor at Pierce Excavation, you will oversee excavation projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role is vital in maintaining our reputation for excellence in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to facilitate smooth workflow.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets company standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution.
- Manage project schedules using tools like Primavera and HeavyBid.
- Train and mentor crew members on best practices and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and labor hours.
- Ensure all OSHA regulations are adhered to on site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Supervisor or similar supervisory role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and safety regulations (OSHA).
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Primavera or HeavyBid is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Experience in pipeline construction is highly desirable.
