What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Patio Furniture Sales position at Pierce Outdoors?
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their inquiries and purchases
- Utilize effective communication skills to build rapport with customers and promote sales
- Demonstrate product knowledge and provide recommendations based on customer needs
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking merchandise as needed
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
Experience:
- Previous experience in furniture sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Proficiency in using POS systems and other technology tools relevant to the sales process
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating discounts or promotions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively
