Duties
- Process and submit medical billing claims to insurance companies and patients.

- Utilize coding systems such as ICD-10 and ICD-9 to ensure correct billing.
- Handle medical collections by following up on outstanding claims and payments.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of DRG (Diagnosis Related Group) regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to medical billing.
- Manage patient inquiries regarding billing issues and provide necessary support.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical records management and medical office procedures.
- Proficient in using billing software systems and electronic health records (EHR).
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding practices, and insurance processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives.
- Certification in Medical Billing or Coding is a plus but not required.
