Duties
- Engage with potential customers through cold calling and direct sales efforts to generate leads and close sales.
- Conduct in-home consultations to assess customer needs and present appropriate product solutions.
- Upsell additional products and services that complement the primary offerings, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage existing accounts while seeking opportunities for account management and growth within the residential market.
- Collaborate with the technical sales team to provide accurate product information and resolve any technical inquiries from customers.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up tasks in the CRM system.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
Experience
- Proven experience in inside sales or direct sales, preferably in a technology or software-related field.
- Strong skills in upselling, account management, and managing customer relationships effectively.
- Familiarity with technical sales processes and the ability to understand complex product specifications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for persuasive selling techniques.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude towards cold calling and lead generation is essential for success in this role.
