Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) – Night Shift
Location: Towson, MD
Duration: 13 weeks with possible extensions
Shift: Nights (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) | 40 Hours Guaranteed
Responsibilities:
- Properly clean, sterilize, store, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with infection control procedures and hospital policies.
- Assist the Sterile Processing Specialists with maintaining competencies and training new team members.
- Handle and store medical supplies necessary for surgery and redistribution throughout the Medical Center.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent SPT experience – Required
Active SPT Certification for at least 2 years – Required
BLS (AHA) Certification – Required
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.54 - $26.33 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Overnight shift
- Rotating weekends
