JOB TITLE: Web Developer

REPORTS TO: Sr Director Engineering
WEB DEVELOPER SUMMARY: Assist the Pierson Wireless software development team in designing, developing,
testing, and publishing web applications to support key business functions.
WEB DEVELOPER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gather and refine specifications from supervisors and stakeholders.
- Create visually appealing interfaces with user-friendly design and clear navigation using standard HTML/CSS practices.
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
- Create and maintain software documentation.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and supervisors on assignment progress, challenges, or new ideas.
- Follows safety policies for safe work.
- Provides support to other team members and staff as needed.
- Operates company-provided equipment and vehicles in a safe manner and follows all local laws, regulations, and ordinances.
- Submits receipts and expense records.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

WEB DEVELOPER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven working experience in web programming
- Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
- Experienced and efficient in programming using PHP
- Moderate level knowledge of relational database systems including MySQL
- Proficient in Object-Oriented programming and web application development
- Good organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the timelines and budgets.
- Strong problem solver skills. The successful candidate must have the ability to independently seek out resources to solve technical puzzles or to research and present possible solutions for technical challenges.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
- Enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in computer science or a related field, or two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
