WEB DEVELOPER SUMMARY: Assist the Pierson Wireless software development team in designing, developing,
testing, and publishing web applications to support key business functions.
WEB DEVELOPER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Gather and refine specifications from supervisors and stakeholders.

• Create visually appealing interfaces with user-friendly design and clear navigation using standard HTML/CSS practices.

• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.

• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.

• Create and maintain software documentation.

• Communicate with internal stakeholders and supervisors on assignment progress, challenges, or new ideas.

• Follows safety policies for safe work.

• Provides support to other team members and staff as needed.

• Operates company-provided equipment and vehicles in a safe manner and follows all local laws, regulations, and ordinances.

• Submits receipts and expense records.

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

WEB DEVELOPER  QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven working experience in web programming

• Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS

• Experienced and efficient in programming using PHP

• Moderate level knowledge of relational database systems including MySQL

• Proficient in Object-Oriented programming and web application development

• Good organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the timelines and budgets.

• Strong problem solver skills. The successful candidate must have the ability to independently seek out resources to solve technical puzzles or to research and present possible solutions for technical challenges.

• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques.

• Enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in computer science or a related field, or two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Other skills required:

• Weekend and night work may be necessary from time to time

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
