- Uphold company food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements, to ensure the health and safety of our guests and team members.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
- Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, entrees, etc.
- Plating prepared foods in accordance with Pig & Grits plating standards
- Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
- Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
- Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
Experience and Education / Requirements:
- At least One Year (1 yr.) previous bar and/or restaurant experience required
- High School diploma or GED Preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Dependable transportation and child care
Physical Demands: Must be able to perform a variety of physical activities including, but not limited to, standing for long periods of time, climbing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping and lifting up to 55 lbs.
