As a Retail Meat Counselor you will report to the Retail Counselor. You will be responsible for overseeing a large territory of 40 departments. You will work closely with the Store Owner, Operators, Directors, Supervisors and Store Managers. The Professionals in this role must be able to listen and communicate with people. You must know how to effectively lead a team and demonstrate your ability to provide creative solutions and suggestions for improving organizational success. The Retail Meat Counselor must be willing to travel extensively and manage multiple projects at the same time.

Responsibilities
- You are the direct link from the owners/stores to the warehouse. You are tasked with assisting to find the solutions to their opportunities .
- You may be required to be involved in day to day tasks inside a department.
- You must build a loyal and trustworthy network with your stores to create an environment that best drives sales and profitability
- Working with store management you must be able to visually layout department plans from new store environments to resetting pre-existing store departments.
- Must be able to understand blue prints.
- Setting up and merchandising new stores from the initial delivery to open for the first time.
- You will be responsible for hand picking product selections based on individual store wants/needs and also based on demographics and locations of the store
Candidate requirements:
- Must be able to read and understand profit and loss statements. You will be asked to find ways to make stores/departments more profitable.
- You will have to understand how sales affect Gross profits in relation to different pricing solutions
- You will be in charge of planning, organizing and completing department resets. You will be required to do some grocery aisle resets.
- You will be required to help assist in training new department personnel as requested by owner/operators.
- Must be willing to provide feedback and incite to stores to further optimize successful operations.
