Systems Administrator

Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Systems Administrator with expertise in Windows Server and VMware environments to maintain and optimize our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Windows-based systems, VMware virtualization, and related technologies to ensure high performance, security, and availability of IT services.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Servers and VMware ESXi hosts.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
• Configure and administer VMware vSphere, vCenter, HA, and DRS.
• Implement security measures, monitor logs, and respond to incidents.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery using Veeam, Commvault, or similar tools.
• Monitor system health using and upgrade planning.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell or other scripting languages.
• Provide support for IT teams and end-users for system-related issues.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with IT policies and standards
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5 years of experience in Windows Server and VMware administration.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, GPOs, and Windows security policies.
• Experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Familiarity with SAN/NAS storage, networking concepts, and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Experience with backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault) and disaster recovery.
• Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, VCP (VMware Certified Professional) preferred.
