The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee warehouse inventory and staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Oversees warehouse operations
- Uses common warehouse management systems
- Manage warehouse associates
- Follows the standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Supervise packaging, receiving and shipping activities
- Complete order picking and shipping tasks as needed
- Escalates issues to managers and recommends potential solutions
- Ensures the team follows company policies and procedures
- Make sure the team adheres to OSHA safety regulations
- Ensure loads are done accurately
- Require that all possible steps are taken to prevent the loss of product
- Report any accidents to warehouse manager immediately
- Conduct all activities within the guidelines of all company policies and procedures
- Performs other related duties as assigned
