PC Technician II

Position Overview

As a PC Technician II, your primary function is to provide technical support for in house requirements such as resolving PC hardware and software problems, and move and/or update existing PC hardware as required. You will also install, modify, and make minor repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems.

Job Description

• Full Time, On-Site Role

• Location: 2215 Union Ave., Sheboygan, WI 53081

You will contribute by:

• Troubleshooting and maintaining operating systems and software on desktop computers.

• Providing Level 1 support for hardware and software across approximately 250 desktop workstations.

• Diagnosing and repairing desktop hardware and peripherals, including network cards, sound cards, microphones, speakers, power supplies, memory, motherboards, processors, internal and external faxes, and modems.

• Training and assisting users with a wide variety of software applications.

• Installing necessary software packages, such as operating systems and other programs required by management.

• Communicating updates, status, and completion information to the manager, tracking system, and/or users through voicemail, email, or in-person interactions.

• Assigning, documenting, and maintaining computer login codes, passwords, and user profiles for software applications, network access, and telecommunications systems.

We’re searching for candidates with:

• Experience with PC hardware and software.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and cloud technology.

• 0-2 years of industry experience.

Environment:

• Office : Office Temperature (65F to 75F)
