We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. In this role, the store manager and assistant will oversee daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Duties
- Assist in managing store operations to meet sales targets and enhance profitability.
- Train, develop, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering and restocking merchandise.
- Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and cash register operations.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote products and drive traffic to the store.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a safe shopping environment.
- Engage with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and foster loyalty.
Experience
- Previous experience in a grocery retail environment, ideally in an Manager or Assistant Manager or supervisory role.
- Strong skills in selling techniques and customer engagement.
- Familiarity with administrative tasks related to store management.
- Proficiency in retail math for effective inventory management and sales analysis.
- Experience in training development for team members is highly desirable.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases.
