Job Description

Under the guidance of a registered nurse, this LVN role performs basic nursing procedures and skilled hospice care for patients with terminal illnesses who have elected the Hospice benefit. The role also provides supportive care to patients' families and/or significant others.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic nursing procedures and skilled hospice care for patients certified with terminal illnesses.
• Provide supportive care to patients' families and/or significant others.

Required Skills

• Ability to work well with people and organize time effectively.
• Compassion, empathy, and clinical knowledge to assist patients with terminal care needs.
• Understanding of home health standards and practices.
• Basic computer knowledge and abilities.

Required Experience

• Current California license as an LVN, renewed every two years in good standing.
• A minimum of one year prior professional nursing experience.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.
• Current CPR card and California driver's license with valid auto insurance.
