Hospice Caregiver

Under the guidance of a registered nurse, you will perform basic nursing procedures and provide skilled hospice care to patients with terminal illnesses who have chosen the Hospice benefit. You will also offer emotional support to patients' families and loved ones.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities and provide personal care.
• Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Requirements

• Current California license as an LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse).
• A minimum of one year of prior professional nursing experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid California driver's license and automobile insurance.
