Job Description:
The Radiologic Technologist is a healthcare professional who acts in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting colleagues to provide quality patient care. The RT utilizes equipment and accessories designed for their intended purpose, employs appropriate techniques, and adheres to accepted standards of practice while minimizing radiation exposure.
This position requires the ability to apply theoretical knowledge and concepts while adhering to ALARA and HIPAA standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in general radiography, digital and computed radiography, computer skills, and effective communication abilities.
Required Skills:
- Technical skills in general radiography
- Digital and Computed Radiography
- Computer skills
- Communication skills
Required Experience:
- CRT certification
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification
- One year of work experience or two years of internship associated with an accredited school
- Experience with PACS
- Experience with digital imaging
Preferred Qualifications:
- ARRT certification
