Ambulatory Case Management Coordinator, Full-Time, Days

The Case Management Coordinator position is responsible for assisting the Nurse Case Manager with coordinating care for members and works in an outpatient healthcare setting.

Required Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to communicate daily on a highly professional level with staff, physicians and patients.
• High level of phone skills demonstrating courtesy and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills, problem solving and decision making abilities.
• Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm.
• Able to prioritize and delegate appropriately.
• Knowledge of ICD-9, CPT and HCPCS coding.

Required Experience

Required:

• High School graduate
• A minimum of two years' experience in an outpatient healthcare setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology 

Preferred:

• Spanish speaking
